Dr. Robert H. Schortz (DDS), Prosthodontist
Dr. Schortz graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1975. He completed an internship and two-year prosthodontic residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in maxillofacial prosthodontics at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Center for Cancer and Allied Diseases. He was a former clinical assistant professor and director of maxillofacial prosthodontics at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. He has lectured extensively on cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry with publications in the New York State Dental Journal and Journal of Prosthodontic Dentistry. He dedicated 40 years to providing high-quality diagnosis and restorative treatment, maintaining a private practice in Midtown Manhattan for 36 years before joining Atrium Health in March 2015.
