Raised in Mooresville, NC. Graduated summa cum laude from UNC Wilmington in 2009 with degree in vocal performance and chemistry minor. Attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University, graduating 2014. Took over Olsen Taylor General Dentistry from parents in June 2016. Advanced training in Turbyfill Denture technique and full-mouth reconstruction through Dawson Academy. Scholar and alumni of Dawson Academy; study club leader for Dawson Academy in northwest North Carolina. Member of American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Charlotte Area Study Club, and Seattle Study Club. Also an accomplished musician and opera singer.

Graduated from Eastern Michigan University with major in chemistry and minor in biology in 1978. Earned DDS from University of Michigan in 1980. Completed general practice residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit (1980-1981) and Dawson Center Continuum. Taught graduate dental studies at Carolina Medical Center for 13 years. Member of American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, Iredell County Dental Society, Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of Dentistry International, and International College of Dentists. Now retired. Father of Dr. Laura Olsen Taylor.

Earned AB in psychology from University of Michigan and master's degree in guidance and counseling from Wayne State University. Received DMD from Case Western Reserve University in 1985. Received Oral Medicine Award as senior at Case Western Reserve. Completed general practice residency at Lakeside VA Medical Center and one year post-graduate work in oral pathology at University of Chicago Zoller Clinic. Studied Dawson Center Curriculum. Member of American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Second District Dental Society, and Academy of Dentistry International. Practiced dentistry for 31 years. Now retired. Mother of Dr. Laura Olsen Taylor.
